I popped down to Bitton station today as Sheila was working there, I took the EM1 and the Pany 100 - 300 and grabbed some images of the event and personalities as well as some of the trains.
The weather was great if not a little too sunny for photos but not complaining.
I worked for the US Government in West Berlin for 11yrs as a Photojournalist, I returned home in 1991 and continued in photography until 2001. I hope all who visit this site enjoy the photographs and appreciate what can be achieved using various equipment brands and a mix of photos taken with a variety of different sensor sized cameras. I must add that all images on this site are small JPEG so do not reflect the true quality of the original Raw conversions.

Bratton - a military honour to Airborne Forces at Arnhem
Lady She and I went to Bratton at the weekend for a re-enactment event to celebrate those who paid the ultimate price and in particular, the Airborne soldiers who fought and gave their lives.
It was a great event with a good mix of people and vehicles and the weather was kind.

I met these re-enactors and as I had my Para shirt on they wanted a photo with me, I was more than happy to oblige and I grabbed the Bren gun - felt good!
And now to the rest!
Landing and flying
