Mist, clouds landscapes and new life

Day off today as I am working a phased return so took advantage of the weather and headed out to get some photos.

There was some changing weather at the viewpoint with low cloud/mist rolling across the headland and some nice moody sky.

Headed back to the lakes afterwards and grabbed some images of the local area before grabbing a photo of new shoots growing out of the moss.

Lady She

My wife was involved in an open day at the local World War 2 Living history museum in town today so I took the opportunity to take a few photos of her dressed ready to go.

Viewpoint, Cathedral and street.

Tired this week at work and not realised how long recovery takes after 4 lots of surgery so must try and pace myself and listen to my body!

After 14hrs sleep I felt much better and able to get out and have some slow walking, I drove to the viewpoint on the way to Gloucester and grabbed a few photos across the valley before heading into town to visit the cathedral and grab some photos.

Finished off grabbing a few quick street images on the way back to the car before heading home.

Having a camera with me just allows me to concentrate on taking photos rather than how far I have walked - a good way to get fresh air and exercise.

Grey mist and fine snow

A miserable day weather wise today but I was determined to get out and take some photos of the local areas.

It never stopped raining so it was a case of getting the photo then returning to the car and wiping off the rain.

Once again the DF delivered despite the challenging circumstances.
