I was out today with the Olympus EM1 and the Panasonic 100 - 300mm lens, a great combination that despite the low light and occasional rain captured some challenging images with ease.
I worked for the US Government in West Berlin for 11yrs as a Photojournalist, I returned home in 1991 and continued in photography until 2001. I hope all who visit this site enjoy the photographs and appreciate what can be achieved using various equipment brands and a mix of photos taken with a variety of different sensor sized cameras. I must add that all images on this site are small JPEG so do not reflect the true quality of the original Raw conversions.

810 at Weston
We went to Weston-Super-Mare yesterday and despite it being chilly with occasional rain, the sky was interesting and changing rapidly as the squalls passed through.
I wanted to capture the changing weather with the scenery as a focal point then try and capture a few of the people enjoying the day.

D810 - captures with a camera of character.
Sun 15th - dull, clat lighting that threatened rain - still determined to grab some images using the superb 24-120 f4.
I am really happy with this camera and the results I am getting from it are stunning and exceed my expectations in every way - a stunning camera.

Bourton-on-the-water
We took a drive to Bourton this afternoon and I was surprised at just how many people were there, cold but sunny with contrasty lighting.
D810+24-120mm f4 - great combo that is perfect for this type of photography.
I have converted these to B&W but left some colour in some for impact.
