Today the weather was wet, windy and overcast but I still wanted to grab some photos.
I was out with the D810 and the 24-120mm f4 and grabbed a few scenic shots before heading into town to grab some street shots.
I am really pleased with this combo.
I worked for the US Government in West Berlin for 11yrs as a Photojournalist, I returned home in 1991 and continued in photography until 2001. I hope all who visit this site enjoy the photographs and appreciate what can be achieved using various equipment brands and a mix of photos taken with a variety of different sensor sized cameras. I must add that all images on this site are small JPEG so do not reflect the true quality of the original Raw conversions.

Regimental reunion in Blackpool
Just spent a very nostalgic and emotional weekend in Blackpool with a special group of men, some I had not seen for 35+yrs.
Despite copious amounts of "fall over fluid", we talked about old times and absent friends and some of the places we served and things we saw and experienced moving times but more laughter than tears so a weekend well spent.
I kept it simple and took just the Olympus EPL5+20mm.
I also grabbed some local sea front photos .
