She and I went to Cheltenham this afternoon and it started out dry then we had some torrential rain for just over an hour before settling down again.
I took just the X-Pro1and 35mm with me to grab some street shots and as the light changed so the shop and street lights started to stand out creating a nice mix of colours.
Last set of 2015 images so ready for 2016 and new subject matters.
I worked for the US Government in West Berlin for 11yrs as a Photojournalist, I returned home in 1991 and continued in photography until 2001. I hope all who visit this site enjoy the photographs and appreciate what can be achieved using various equipment brands and a mix of photos taken with a variety of different sensor sized cameras. I must add that all images on this site are small JPEG so do not reflect the true quality of the original Raw conversions.

Boxing Day Hunt - Cirencester Park
I attended the annual Boxing Day hunt today in the park, Rob came along as well and it was well attended with quite a few riders in particular a lot of younger riders being introduced to hunting.
Rob had his new camera and Nikon 200 - 500mm lens (I am not jealous - I AM NOT JEALOUS)!!
I took along the D810 and the Tamron 150-600mm that work well together.
She joined us at the end as she had been with the crowd and talking to people she knew, we all headed home for a nice warm coffee and mince pies with brandy sauce!
These are the images from today and it was noticeable that the youngsters were smiling more than the "old and bold".

High ISO street
Better weather today - colder and clearer (no rain) so decided to take the D810+28-300 with me as I popped into town.
Still needed to shoot between 4000 - 8000ISO to get what I wanted but the camera handled it well and the images are more than usable!
