Over the hills and far away

Out today for a walk over the hills from the viewpoint with the X-Pro2 and the 35mm f1.4, it was cold with occasional sunshine but very clear so visibility was outstanding.
I have taken some landscape photos and used Nik Analogue Pro for the editing and a different finish.
I also grabbed some abstracts and nature shots.

Lady She at the lakes

My wife and I were out at the lakes yesterday and I wanted to shoot some images of her.

I took the XT2 + 56mm APD and the Fuji EF-X500 flash unit and we went out to the country for a walk and to do some more daylight flash photos, it was a cold but bright day and the fresh air was perfect to clear the remnants of colds and enjoy a photo session at the same time.

The EF-X500 is superb and automatically operates in high speed sync mode when needed delivering great results.

These were all shot at 200 ISO, manual mode f1.2 and adjusting the shutter to allow the background to be underexposed yet the flash illuminating the subject correctly.

I am happy!

Allotment and Clayhill car park

I was at the allotments again today then at Clayhill car park and I had the XPro2 with the 56mm, grabbed some frost shots and then to the lakes and a walk around the fields and images of the old quarrying machinery left to rust.
So nice to revisit the area again as it has been closed for over a year and also to take the XPro2 out.

Saturday slots

Not the best of weather today, very cold and windy but it did brighten up a little this afternoon.

I needed my fresh air so ventured out with the X70 to the viewpoint where I got a misty shot last weekend and today it was a better day.

Returned home and we went into town so I grabbed a few images.

Bath in January

We went to Bath today and I took just the X70 with me so while my wife was doing her shopping I was able to grab some images around town.

Yet again this camera proved itself to be a real winner and delivered some images that I put through Iridient before moving to Photoshop and using the script to add image details to the frame.
