Out in the country to try and get my head straight and decided to take the XT2 for a run out as it has just come back from repair.
All seems to be working fine so happy that Fuji have worked their magic.
I worked for the US Government in West Berlin for 11yrs as a Photojournalist, I returned home in 1991 and continued in photography until 2001. I hope all who visit this site enjoy the photographs and appreciate what can be achieved using various equipment brands and a mix of photos taken with a variety of different sensor sized cameras. I must add that all images on this site are small JPEG so do not reflect the true quality of the original Raw conversions.

Sunday in town
On Sunday we had a Festival of Flowers in our local church as well as stalls in the Abbey grounds selling tea and cakes.
A beautiful display of flowers that attracted many visitors and we finished the afternoon sat in the sunshine drinking tea and eating scones.
A very pleasant afternoon.

XP2 exploits
I have been using the XP-2 recently with the 55-200 lens as a walkabout camera to grab some nature shots and loving it.
These are some photos from the weekend and at the end are 3 images taken with the X70 of a McLaren sports car.

Weston-Super-Mare Airshow
I attended the Weston air show recently, a completely free event held over the sea but still far enough a way to require a good telephoto lens.
It was one of the hottest days of the year but with some haze present that proved a bit of a challenge at times but nice enough to bring the crowds out and make it a very well attended day.
I wanted to capture photos of some of the visitors to include fellow photographers before the flying started and there was a real mix of cameras as well.
A day for the Fuji XT2 + 100-400mm.
