I was off today and wanted to get some fresh air so headed to Lower Moor Farm nature reserve to sit in a hide, relax and see if there was any activity.
I was the only person there that made me think it would be quiet and the first hide I went into had some activity but not what I wanted so I headed to another hide and there was a nice pile of wood close by that had some seed on it so encouraged some of the smaller birds and a field mouse that lived underneath the woodpile.
Not many photos but a few that I am pleased with as well as some greenery etc.
I worked for the US Government in West Berlin for 11yrs as a Photojournalist, I returned home in 1991 and continued in photography until 2001. I hope all who visit this site enjoy the photographs and appreciate what can be achieved using various equipment brands and a mix of photos taken with a variety of different sensor sized cameras. I must add that all images on this site are small JPEG so do not reflect the true quality of the original Raw conversions.

Glos and local
I popped over to Glos airport this afternoon to look around the shop only to find it has gone!
I stayed and shot a couple of images through & over the fence but did not have the long lens with me and not a lot of interesting subject matter apart from the Harley so headed out and grabbed a shot of the M5 before heading back to the local area for some more photos.
I liked the image of the old quarry machine as it looked like a mechanical dinosaur and got down low for impact and to get the moon in the image before grabbing some flora shots.

Cheltenham - quick trip
We had a quick trip to Cheltenham today - very chilly and windy but still enough people on the streets and a few photo opportunities.
Cheltenham always offers a few good photo opportunities.
Cheltenham always offers a few good photo opportunities.
No matter what car you drive, you can still get a parking ticket for being silly.
This image is of a lady who was determined to try and convince people
that the majority of people in Cheltenham voted to stay in the EU and
that we should have another vote - enough already, despite your views we
had a vote and the outcome was to leave so lets get on with it and
ignore these people that want to ignore democracy because they are not
happy with a vote!

Gloucester - off the streets
A dull day today so took a drive over to Gloucester and parked in an area away from my normal stomping ground so that I could visit and area I am not used to and head for an area further along the river from the docks.
I did come across some old tired buildings and in turn some old boats in a state of disrepair as well as some graffiti.
Just one person in this weeks photos and he was chilling and enjoying a beer so we had a very quick chat as I took his photo.
