Witney Streets

We were in Witney yesterday as my wife was delivering a talk to the WI so we headed over in the afternoon and had some time looking around the shops before getting set up in the hall for her talk to well over 100 people.
I occupied myself taking a few photos around the streets before heading back to help my wife pack up and head home at 9.30pm.
I wanted to travel light so took just the Pen F.

Spring flowers

Out today with the DF and after sitting it out in the car during a rain shower I ventured out across the fields and to one of our smaller villages where I was able to capture some photos of the flowers that are now starting to appear.
It is a lovely time of year that changes rapidly and presents us with some wonderful colours.

The mating game and nature

I was out by the lakes at the weekend and while shooting some nature I started trying to find some butterflies to capture.

I eventually came across these two playing the dating game and faced the challenge of trying to capture them flying close by and eventually settling on some flowers close to each other.

Luckily I had the Nikon D500 with the 300mm PF and the superb auto focus captured exactly what I wanted.
