Back again into the park yesterday to get our daily dose of fresh air while observing isolation.
A lovely day with sunshine and gentle fresh breeze and good to see the majority of people were enjoying the park while observing sensible distance from others.
Grabbed a couple of photos of my stunning wife to celebrate Mothers Day without access to our daughter and grandchildren due to the separation.
I worked for the US Government in West Berlin for 11yrs as a Photojournalist, I returned home in 1991 and continued in photography until 2001. I hope all who visit this site enjoy the photographs and appreciate what can be achieved using various equipment brands and a mix of photos taken with a variety of different sensor sized cameras. I must add that all images on this site are small JPEG so do not reflect the true quality of the original Raw conversions.

Black and white in the park
Observing the social distancing but still able to take a walk in our wonderful park where there is plenty of room to allow separation.
I decided I wanted to do some B&W and these are the results.

Nifty Fifty
I managed to purchase a used Nikon 50mm f1.4G boxed in immaculate condition on Saturday from London Camera Exchange in Cheltenham.
I took it out yesterday around town on the DF and I am very happy with the images it delivers, it was overcast and cloudy when I left the house and blue sky when I returned so amix of lighting / contrast and colour.
These are the images from the test..............it's a keeper!

RX100 does Cheltenham
Another fairly short visit to Cheltenham on Sat so I took advantage of time while my wife was shopping to take a few street shots.
Once again, the tiny Sony did a superb job of capturing images I am happy with.

Sisi Shiraz - The Taboo To-Do.
We had a superb evening on Saturday as we attended a burlesque show organised by and starring a wonderful talented friend of ours.
It was at the Frog & Fiddle pub in Cheltenham, a pub with lots of character and a room for the show that was a challenge lighting wise so need to use a touch of fill flash.
A great show with a mix of "characters" all for a good cause Maggies - to support those going through cancer so thank you Tala for all you do to help those going through this challenge.
