APS and Micro Four thirds

Rather than shoot everything on full frame I have mixed it up a little and recently taken out some of my other cameras that are:
Ricoh GR APS-C format
Olympus OMD EM1 Micro four thirds format
Olympus EPL5 Micro four thirds format

These are some of the images in order

Nature walk

Rob and I took a walk through the Nature Reserve in Cricklade, Wilts today, I wanted to give the Tamron 150-600 a run out on the D810 and have a go at shooting some nature so followed Rob's expert guidance.

We covered over 8Km and it was a wonderful hot summers day, the downside.........there was very little wildlife about to photograph so we had to take advantage of what we were offered.

These are the results and I am happy even though that camera lens combo got very heavy!

Rob on the bridge and his magic touch with attracting insects to land on him

A blue butterfly and a damselfly

I managed to capture a damselfly in flight and track it

The farmer was busy in the field that may have had an impact on today

South Cerney Vintage Steam Fair

We attended the Vintage Steam Fair yesterday and it was great, easy access (no queues) cheap admission £10 with plenty of parking.

The event was large and well spread out so despite the numbers it never felt crowded, there was a real mix of items from plenty of steam driven items to stalls, vintage reenactors, eateries and entertainment for the children - a great success with a real family feel.

These are the images I captured and the weather was overcast with occasional sun which allowed some moody shots.
