I was out by the lakes with the X-Pro2 and the 18mm f2 lens and grabbed some images out in the open.
The 18mm is a great performer and a perfect lens to compliment the X-pro2.
I worked for the US Government in West Berlin for 11yrs as a Photojournalist, I returned home in 1991 and continued in photography until 2001. I hope all who visit this site enjoy the photographs and appreciate what can be achieved using various equipment brands and a mix of photos taken with a variety of different sensor sized cameras. I must add that all images on this site are small JPEG so do not reflect the true quality of the original Raw conversions.

Lady She
I was out with my wife on Sunday and I wanted to try the X-Pro2 +56mm f1.2APD lens for some portraits.
As usual, She was up to her normal amazing self and totally relaxed that shows in the photos.
I am very pleased with the results and the performance of the combo.

In town then lunch with Zea and Archie
Quick trip to town yesterday so took the X-Pro2 + 35mm and grabbed a few street shots before meeting my daughter and grandson for lunch.
I did not shoot in B&W so used Silver Efex Pro to convert to B&W and wanted that nice soft look to the images of Archie.

Saturday shots
I was out today with the new X-Pro2, I shot with the 56mm f1.2 in town and then switched to the 55-200mm for the nature photos.
Met up with my good friend Rob and we ended up going to the lakes so we could get some photos of the wildlife then some images of nature by the sailing lake and the old quarry machinery.
A lovely sunny day and good light for photography.
I tried some bird in flight shots using group AFC on the 55-200mm and I am delighted with the results - a stunning combination.
