Bath day out

We went to Bath on Wednesday and I took the Fuji X100s for a change, it is great to use the Fuji after its time in the cupboard and use a fixed lens small camera that delivers great images.

Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) - Departure Day Mon 16 Jul

Retirement has its benefits one of which is having the time to be able to do things previously prevented by work and one of these was for the first time being able to go to RAF Fairford and join many other photographers with unhindered views of the aircraft leaving following the air tattoo being over.
There was a real mix of aircraft from fast jet, heavy lifters, helicopters as well as some "old & bold aircraft from years gone bye".
There were aircraft taking off on a regular basis from 0900hrs and this continued at a constant pace only starting to slow down a little around 1430hrs.
A great day with hundreds of other like minded photographers all enjoying the sites and facilities for the grand sum of £20 - bargain!
