The 85 on Sunday

I wanted to try out the 85mm f1.8 AFS-G that arrived on Fri so rather than shoot portraits I decided to go out and grab some general shots.

I went to the lakes and was lucky to have the sailboats with bright sails, a lady on her board and then a great bunch of gents who had made a boat to be used on a paddle from Wantage - a great job and it stayed afloat!

Finally I grabbed some shots of nature and some old rusty pieces of quarry equipment.

I do have to say that the 85mm is super sharp!
