I spent a fabulous 5hrs at Slimbridge Wildlife Wetland Trust yesterday and we had a mix of sunshine and overcast and windy.
Met with some interesting fellow photographers who were also enjoying the days shooting, all using a variety of equipment to include one who was shooting with a pair of analogue Mamiya 645 cameras mounted on a bracket. I first thought he was shooting 3D but when we got talking it turns out he had 2 x different lenses and used the bracket for ease of carrying!
My aim yesterday was to concentrate mainly on flying birds and capture some shots of the swans coming into the trust - I was not disappointed and the D500 with 300mm made a superb combo that was easy to carry all day and did not require me to take a bag..........winner!
These are the images from yesterday amidst the changing light.
