We were out yesterday and I had "Photography time.
I wanted to grab some street art photos so despite the light drizzle I was still determined to find some good art.
I travelled light with just the little X70 and found what I wanted as well as a few street shots of other subjects.
I worked for the US Government in West Berlin for 11yrs as a Photojournalist, I returned home in 1991 and continued in photography until 2001. I hope all who visit this site enjoy the photographs and appreciate what can be achieved using various equipment brands and a mix of photos taken with a variety of different sensor sized cameras. I must add that all images on this site are small JPEG so do not reflect the true quality of the original Raw conversions.

Great Western Sprint
I attended the first event at Castle Combe circuit for 2018 - "Great Western Sprint".
It was fine rain on the way down that had stopped by the time I arrived and it was free entry with parking in the Paddock so a nice central area.
The cars were all members of the Bristol Motor Cycle & Light car Club (no motorcycles were present) and there was a real mix from single seat race cars to personal cars from different genres and performance levels.
Initial photos were still with some water on the track but it dried out later as participants were running their time trials, I was also able to get some photos in the paddock and have a good chat with some of the drivers / engineers.
All in all a very enjoyable 5hrs at the first event of 2018.
