Dorset seaside break

We spent 4 days in Dorset last month and based ourselves in Weymouth, we had some mixed weather but mostly it remained dry albeit it with some windy weather and moody skies.

We visited both Portland Bill lighthouse area and it was wild and windy but worth the visit, there was one lone very brave fisherman who climbed across some narrow rocks and up a face with handholds to get to a prime fishing outcrop.

After Portland we headed over to Durdle Door and the Jurassic coastline and it was an area that presented some moody skies that made for some good photos and a challenging walk down to the vantage point I used for the photos.

I managed to take some photos around Weymouth harbour as a fishing boat returned and unloaded the catch after 8hrs at sea, also images around the docks and in town.

It was a superb break and we enjoyed lots of walking and fresh sea air - Well worth a visit.
