The food and drink were flowing well and everyone was having a fun time with a treasure hunt for the children (who all received commemorative coins) and a crown for the winner of the treasure hunt, we even had Steve who graced us with his presence and a fantastic voice to provide the perfect entertainment for the day.
A real success even when the rain and a thunder storm rolled in around 6.30pm, the children were not deterred and carried on playing football in the rain.
All in all a fantastic event that raised money for a local charity - the joy of living as part of a super friendly street with great neighbours.
