We decided to enjoy the bank holiday and visit Berkeley Castle as it was the village where my wife was born and she had not been there since childhood.
It was a very busy day with the overflow car park being in full use.
The bonus was a quick visit to the butterfly house small, hot and very humid to cater for the butterflies and moths from hotter climates.
We then had a walk through the house before heading to the rear garden where there were some re-enactors showing medieval clothing, armour and practices.
All in all a great visit with some good photo opportunities.
