Thruxton Superbike Championships

I was at Thruxton yesterday for the final day at this venue for the Superbike Championships, it was incredibly well attended and they estimated between 5000 - 8000 visitors many of whom were "bikers" who arrived on their trusty steeds!
It was very hot and sunny with temperatures on and above the 31°C for all of the day and this caused some nasty heat haze from the track as it warmed up, it was made more challenging due to the angle of the sun in relation to the viewing areas but we had to work through it.
I was by a great group of other photographers and we had a good laugh with the banter flying yet we all enjoyed ourselves despite the challenges of the heat haze.
I decided to take the D500+300mm f4 PF and used this combo for the whole day.
