B&W with the D3s and 24-120

I wanted to capture some black and white images with the D3s and the 24-120 lens so thought I would start on our trip to Cheltenham on Sunday.

Through the woods

Today I was with my friend Rob who is an ex pro and superb photographer and as normal we spent a good 4 hours talking photography!

We went walking through the woods to grab some images and despite the mud and overcast weather I am pleased with the images I captured.

These are all taken with the Nikon D3s and the AF-s 50mm f.4 G lens.

Flat Sunday

Very flat lighting today so a good opportunity to see what the D3s can deliver when pushed in low light.

The first two images are at 200 ISO and then the others increase in ISO as indicated.

This is certainly a "Low light" beast!

Bibury and landscapes

Wet today with occasional sunshine so thought it was an ideal time to go to Bibury and grab a couple of images.

Took the D3s and the 24-120 to grab the images as I wanted to remind myself of the full frame quality - I was not dissapointed!

Bourton on the water

She and I went to Bourton this afternoon and the weather was good, I managed to grab a few images around the streets.

I came across a film crew shooting some images for a Bollywood movie and managed to grab a few images of the actress, dancers and the film crew.

The D3s is super fast and it captured the images with ease.
