Boxing Day meet in the Park

We had the annual Boxing Day hunt meet in the park and it was well attended both with spectators and participants.
This is a "Drag Hunt" and I must add that I neither condone or condemn the sport that has been part of history and tradition for hundreds of years.
The event starts in the grounds to the rear of the wonderful mansion house that is the home to Earl Bathurst and his wife Countess Bathurst both who do a lot for the town.
There were some characters in attendance and we even had a spectator arrive on a mountain bike so a real mix of people all entertained by Cirencester band and with refreshments readily to hand.
A slightly dull day but it still offered some good photographic subjects

Kingfisher and the park

I had a quick walk along the riverbank recently and light levels were low, I did however manage to grab some images of the Kingfisher that hunts around that area - these are all between 8,000 and 12,800 ISO so not as clear as I would have liked.
I then headed into the park and grabbed a few images there to include an image of "Beano" the coffee stall that does such a superb job watering and feeding all visitors and providing a central meeting place for all visitors.
