Ricoh GR3 - the new small thing!

I received my GR3 yesterday and unpacked it with great enthusiasm, it is even a touch smaller than my previous GR digital (that is now defunct) but still has that same inspiring feel and look to it that is tactile, unassuming yet encourages you to out and take photos with it - which I did!

It is so much faster than my older version and is better in every way, the autofocus is faster and more accurate and the controls are all easy to use and logical.

Here are my very first set of images taken in and around our town yesterday and a few in St John Baptist church to see how it performs inside without flash.

We attended the Cotswold show held in Cirencester Park at the weekend, it was so nice to see it back again after last years lockdown prevented it.

It was well attended and I have not seen so many attendees with dogs before many owners with multiple dogs so a good day for one and all.

There was a good mix of stalls and entertainment and everyone appeared to be having a fun time and the weather was kind so a great success.

We met up with quite a few people we knew and there were lots of good photo opportunities.

Austin 10 drivers rally.

My wife had an invite to set up and sell some of her vintage clothing at the Austin 10 drivers rally held at the Royal Agricultural University in Cirencester.  It was a super day that apart from one short downpour remained dry and overcast so good for some photos.

A real mix of Austins and all the owners/drivers were super friendly.

There were some great photo opportunities so I was in my element and these are the photos I am happy with - well worth it.
