Lower Moor nature

I was back at Lower Moor Nature Reserve again yesterday and there were quite a few dragonflies about but mostly constantly flying with very few settling long enough for me to get a photograph.

I did manage to capture a some images of a female emperor dragonfly laying her eggs as well as in flight prior to landing.

Weston Air Show 2019

I ventured down to Weston yesterday for the Air show. It was a disappointment after previous years as there were far fewer aircraft than previous years, the amazing Catalina was missing and the Lancaster had engine problems so did not fly. There were a lot of people grumbling about the show but at least the weather helped.....some were so bored they slept
