We had more snow overnight so we decided to take a walk in the Park before She headed home to do some work and left me to carry on through the park, across the fields and along the Cheltenham Rd to the allotments where I grabbed a few photos.
It was nice and fresh and the wind made it more chilly than it really was.
I wanted to grab these as the snow is due to be short lived.
I worked for the US Government in West Berlin for 11yrs as a Photojournalist, I returned home in 1991 and continued in photography until 2001. I hope all who visit this site enjoy the photographs and appreciate what can be achieved using various equipment brands and a mix of photos taken with a variety of different sensor sized cameras. I must add that all images on this site are small JPEG so do not reflect the true quality of the original Raw conversions.

Saturday test and Cheltenham
I received my new flash system last week and wanted to try it out for the first time by taking some photos of my wife. I am delighted with the system and it is so much more powerful than my standard flash units yet works perfectly off camera with a nice diffuser and is super fast to recycle so a perfect unit to use for some of the portrait/group bookings I already have for later this year so my first job will cover the cost of the unit.
After the test above we headed over to Cheltenham on a wet and windy day so took just the superb little Fuji X70 camera with me and grabbed some street shots.
A varied day photographically yet very rewarding and it is always good to have a camera with me!

A Saturday walk in the snow
I needed to get exercise and fresh air this afternoon so grabbed my camera and headed out.
Flat and hazy lighting but still determined to grab some photos.

Snow Angel
The weather was so bad yesterday that work was closed, treacherous driving conditions caused the closure so worked from home.
We had to get out for some fresh air and headed up to the park where I was able to grab a few photos of my wife including the one of her doing her "Snow Angel" pose in the snow then a very quick walk into town before heading home.
The coat (faux fur) kept her warm and dry yet added character to the photos.
