Barbury Castle

I took a trip out to Barbury Castle recently as the weather looked as if it would provide some good opportunities to capture the weather at its best and the moody skies with suns rays shining through onto the landscape.

A trip well spent and I managed to capture some images I am happy with.

Cirencester Christmas lights

I had a walk through town yesterday late afternoon/early evening and grabbed some photos of the Christmas lights with the little Sony.

Despite the light levels and conditions I am pleased with the results and once again (quite noisy but they work) it shows just how good this little camera is and more importantly, how festive our town is looking.

Cardiff

We took a trip with Alexcars to Cardiff recently (unfortunately it was the same day as Wales played the Barbarians at the Cardiff stadium) so it was crowded with shoppers and rugby fans enjoying themselves before the game.

I wanted to travel light so once again took just the little Sony RX100 and it delivered what I wanted.

Sun in the Park

I went for another good walk through the park and took some more images this time with challenge of sunlight through the trees and a silhouette of people. I was lucky enough to capture both and some careful positioning allowed me to get the sun positioned so the rays stood out.

A touch of editing was required to make them even more prominent but it has worked.
