Cheltenham with the DF

We were in Cheltenham today as Sheila was delivering a presentation on vintage clothing to a day care centre group.

I took the opportunity to walk around and grab some street images and while out came across a fantastic militaria shop run by an interesting gent - details and photos below.

Out and about with the DF

I was out today as able to drive for the first time in a month following my surgery, a bit of a challenge getting in and out of the car but great to be back behind the wheel.

I took the DF with me and grabbed some images out and about in Aston Keynes church, a favourite shot of the tall trees with church before finishing off in the garden with one of our garden spiders.

Baby Fuji at Minchinhampton

We went to Minchinhampton recently and I wanted to travel very light so took just the superb small Fuji X70 with me and grabbed some shots in the village.

Lacock at War

I attended the Lacock at War event yesterday as my wife was running the fashion show and there was a good turnout of both visitors (10,000 plus) and re-enactors.

I had my good friend Rob with me and we spent a good 5 hours taking photos of the event and photos around the village.

I managed to grab some photos of my wife's fashion show (a packed audience) and later on some photos of my wife with Miss Lacock as they walked around the village before setting up a little photo session using a gate and Steve a re-enactor dressed as a US Military Press Photographer with his Speed Graphic camera - a nice way to finish the day!
