I worked for the US Government in West Berlin for 11yrs as a Photojournalist, I returned home in 1991 and continued in photography until 2001.
I hope all who visit this site enjoy the photographs and appreciate what can be achieved using various equipment, a mix of photos taken with Full frame, APS-C and Micro 4/3rd cameras.
I must add that all images on this site are small JPEG so do not reflect the true quality of the original Raw conversions.

OMD - Small with grace and power
I have finally decided now is the time to part company with my D700 that has served me well but now only gets used two or three times a year, the combination of size, weight and lack of use convinced me it was time to replace it.
After much deliberation, reading and talking to users I decided to get the Olympus OMD EM-5 and now have the challenge of keeping the learning curve as short as possible.
Below is a photo of the kit.
These are some of my first images with the OMD having only collected it yesterday - so far, so good!

Had a day off today and tried the 75mm f1.8 out - amazing!
