2 days in Brighton

Following our trip to Islington for the annual Angel Canal Festival, we headed down to Brighton for some fresh sea air and sunshine.

The weather was outstanding so just needed summer wear and even in the evenings it was not cold.
There were still lots of foreign tourists about including school visits from Europe so a lot of different languages.

Brighton as usual offers a real mix of photographic subjects but alas, we did notice there are a greater number of "homeless" people begging and some in a more aggressive manner and this is annoying tourists and according to a local fisherman the people that live in Brighton are also becoming more frustrated with it - we had one on the pavement outside our hotel entrance and others hovering outside banks and supermarkets. Rather than give them money I did buy some water (it was hot weather) fresh chicken and a bunch of bananas that I gave to a non aggressive person obviously living on the streets and he was genuinely thankful.

These are the remainder of the images (sunsets/night shots already posted) from the trip.
