Cirencester MOP fair

I walked into town on Monday to take some photos of our annual MOP fair and a couple of street shots as well.

The Cirencester MOP is one of the oldest in the county dating back to the 12th Century.

The Mop Fair takes its name from the original purpose that was to act as a hiring event where servants carried the tools of their trade to show they were available for work.

It was very well attended with lots of families all out enjoying themselves.

I took just the Sony with the 24-70mm and shot everything hand held.
