Boxing Day Hunt - Cirencester Park

I attended the annual Boxing Day hunt today in the park, Rob came along as well and it was well attended with quite a few riders in particular a lot of younger riders being introduced to hunting.

Rob had his new camera and Nikon 200 - 500mm lens (I am not jealous - I AM NOT JEALOUS)!!

I took along the D810 and the Tamron 150-600mm that work well together.

She joined us at the end as she had been with the crowd and talking to people she knew, we all headed home for a nice warm coffee and mince pies with brandy sauce!

These are the images from today and it was noticeable that the youngsters were smiling more than the "old and bold".

Rob with the new beast!

  1. Soper shots Ian and great results from the 'Little' Tamron lens!
You got some lovely candids with it, as well as the action shots.
Thanks for a good day out and for the mince pies.

  2. Thanks Rob, it was time well spent and as usual we laughed, talked photography and got images we are pleased with - not sure about the dodgy looking bloke at the end of the post lugging that "crappy" lens around!!
