Lower Moor Nature Reserve

I was back at Lower Moor again recently, very quiet due to the windy conditions and we also had a couple of short bursts of hailstone!

Good fresh air though and exercise and a good laugh with some of the regulars I have got to know.

I returned to one of the hides and there was a heron looking for food in the reeds close by so we all kept an eye on him and eventually he emerged from the reeds, looked around then took off so I was able to capture a sequence of shots as he flew off leaving droplets of water falling from its feet.

These images although few in number made the visit all worth while.
